Cyanotype: reclaiming memories.
As a child of the landlocked mountains I strangely yearned for the sea. I would beg to go to museum stores and ask for shells as gifts. At one point I created a museum in the attic to celebrate the ocean. As an adult at every beach I visit I pick up things to add to this lifetime collection. Blue as my memories of the far off ocean these cyanotypes carry meaning of discoveries past.
